Focus of the 2010 World Stem Cell Report
The 2010 World Stem Cell Report will focus on the theme of global harmonization through a series of articles from leading international stem cell organizations. Many countries and regions have dedicated funding for research through government agencies. Consequently, a number of important national and international networks dedicated to catalyzing stem cell research and the field of regenerative medicine have emerged. As a result, these groups have furthered cell standardization, ethical principles, uniform frameworks in law and regulation, and promotion of economic development.
The 2010 World Stem Cell Report seeks to showcase these efforts and how these organizations are working together as a global stem cell community to advance scientific research, policy and commercialization.
With support from the International Consortium of Stem Cell Networks, the Interstate Alliance on Stem Cell Research, CIRM, the Stem Cell network (Canada), the Australian Stem Cell Centre, and several world leading stem cell experts, GPI has procured more than 40 articles and 200 pages of insight representing: ICSCN, ARM, CIRM, ISCF, ISSCR, HSCI, the Hinxton Group, ALS World Wide, Research America, Regenerative Medicine (publication), Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Unique Perspectives from Around the Globe
The editors of the 2010 World Stem Cell Report have invited more than 40 experts to share their views on regenerative medicine strategies in the regions of North and South America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region where stem cell research is on the forefront the biomedical research and commercialization agenda. The report will serve as a reference and guide to this diverse universe of organizations and networks that influence the pace and ultimate success in our field.
