The 2009 World Stem Cell Summit at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. This event was produced by the Genetics Policy Institute and hosted by the Johns Hopkins University, the University System of Maryland, the University of Maryland – Baltimore, the Maryland Department of Economic Development, the Maryland Technology Development Corporation and the Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund.
More than 1,200 stem cell stakeholders from 27 countries, including 50 exhibitors and 200 combined sponsors, supporting organizations and media partners, joined together to advance discussions and foster relationships to further stem cell sciences and the field of regenerative medicine
