Zachary Resch, PhD, is the Program Manager of Mayo Clinic’s Center for Regenerative Medicine (CRM) Biotrust. As one of the technical platforms within the CRM, the Biotrust functions to speed the translation of novel regenerative therapies by providing critical services to Mayo Clinic investigators across the enterprise. Specifically, the CRM Biotrust provides Mayo Clinic physician scientists with services including: study design, patient sample acquisition, processing and in some cases iPSC generation. All biomaterials undergo validation, banking and are available for distribution to internal and external partners under institutional oversight. The CRM Biotrust hosts over 300 diesease-specific or normal iPSC lines as well as primary stem or somatic cells from over 1500 unaffected or diseased patients.
