The 2008 World Stem Cell Summit Report

Invitation to Submit Papers

The 2008 World Stem Cell Report will coincide with The World Stem Cell Summit in Madison, Wisconsin September 22 – 23, 2008, being presented by the Genetics Policy Institute and hosted by the University of Wisconsin Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center and WiCell Research Institute.

Genetics Policy Institute and Toucan Venture Capital will publish the 2008 World Stem Cell Report in conjunction with acclaimed author Eve Herold. The Report will be multidisciplinary in scope and will explore the leading-edge issues of stem cell research today.

The editorial line-up includes articles on:

  • Worldwide Stem Cell Research
  • What stem cell treatments are in the near-term pipeline?
  • Educational imperatives necessary to prepare the next bioscience workforce

Suggested article length is 3,000 – 3,500 words. Please note that the deadline for receiving articles is July 11, 2008, but earlier submissions will be accepted. Photos, tables and all other graphic illustrations should be submitted as soon as possible to allow time for layout.

Authors will receive five free copies of the Report, but more can be ordered for a nominal charge. Articles will be made available for downloading at www.worldstemcellsummit.com and at the websites of Genetics Policy Institute and the Student Society for Stem Cell Research.
